Too many great jewellery brands were being held back by bad manufacturing partners.
We spent years in the industry — designing, sourcing, sitting with retailers and brand founders. The same frustration came up in every conversation: inconsistent quality, long lead times, hidden minimums, opaque pricing, and plating that peeled within months.
Good brands were stuck defending their reputation against the limitations of whoever was making their pieces. The problem wasn't demand — the problem was the supply side. Someone had to fix that.
The problem
So we founded E&Co. on a single idea: the manufacturer should serve the brand, not the other way around.
That shows up in everything we do — from 21-day lead times instead of 90, to plating that's 5× thicker than industry average because it makes the end-customer's piece last. From MOQs that don't punish new labels, to IP terms that are yours in writing.
We picked a category — demi-fine and fine jewellery — that we could genuinely execute on. And we decided to stay boutique: fewer partners, deeper relationships, higher standards.
The solution
Our studio is in Singapore — strategically placed at the heart of Asia's jewellery trade.
We design locally. We source gold through audited Asian refineries with complete chain-of-custody. We manufacture in small, trusted batches with partners we've vetted for fair labour and environmental standards. Every piece passes three quality stages before it leaves our facility.
Today our pieces ship to Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, and beyond — most of them under names other than ours. That discretion is part of the product. Our partners trust that what they design with us stays with them.

Our job is to make your piece perfect. That means your specs, your hallmark, your timeline — not ours. We work in your world, not the other way around.
We've turned down partners whose volumes we couldn't responsibly support. Fewer, deeper relationships beat a wide thin pipeline every time.
Pricing, materials, lead times, limitations — all disclosed upfront in writing. Partners shouldn't need to negotiate for honesty.
What we make for you stays yours. We don't publish client lists. We don't produce variants of your designs. NDAs are signed before catalogues are shared.
Coffee meetings with jewellery retailers and founders across Singapore and Hong Kong. The same frustrations kept repeating. Someone had to build the supply-side partner that didn't exist.
We visited fourteen potential manufacturing partners across Southeast Asia over six months. We ended up working with three — the ones whose quality, ethics, and transparency matched what we wanted to sell.
A Singapore bridal house quietly commissions our first ODM run. Three months later, the pieces are in their showroom under their name. The model works.
